Spring meetings were held on April 19 in Cambridge and April 21 in Portsmouth with a total of over 80 superintendents attending both meetings. At both meetings, Dr. Keith Bell introduced students from Trimble Local Schools (Cambridge meeting) and Chesapeake High School (portsmouth meeting) who have been involved in the OSU Student Led Research Collaborative. Both groups discussed how they had grown utilizing this process and the Chesapeake students shared a video of their public testimony presented during a House Hearing on School Finance.
In addition, CORAS members receive updates on the Appalachian Stem Collaborative, Legislative updates from Monte Bainter and Marc Kreisher as well as a presentation from Mr. Paul LaRue, President of the Ohio State Board of Education.
